Leveraging Technology to Improve Campus Safety & Security
Limited Capacity seats available

**At the end of this presentation, a random drawing will be held for door prizes, including an Apple Watch!  Must be present to win.**

This session is presented by Cisco in collaboration with Netsync Networks and Singlewire.
In the wake of many recent and highly publicized school tragedies, there has been an increased awareness and call-to-action for student and staff safety in schools. Many have elected to leverage technology to assist their plans to prepare for threats, both natural and human; however, the technology implementations seen for this are often disjointed, manual and very basic. Citizens, parents and politicians are pushing for this to improve.
Parents want to feel that their kids will be safe when they send them off to school each day. Students and faculty want to be protected without feeling like they're in a military compound.  And administrators are tasked with finding the best and most efficient means to address all these constituencies.  Given all of this as a backdrop, our speaker session seeks to answer the question: “How can technology best be leveraged to achieve safety and security in schools?”

Please join us for a presentation and demonstration of Olympus. Olympus is a safety and security technology solution that provides a high degree of visibility, automated actions, and collaboration during an incident or an emergency.  It leverages technologies that many schools already have in place, while layering additional capabilities and intelligence on top.  We look forward to seeing you at the session.
